July 25, 2013 is Statistics Day in Georgia. This date is associated with the start of official statistics in Georgia. On 25 July, 1919 the first Statistics Office was established, and in 1921 the first statute “On the state statistics authorities of Georgia” was approved.

Within the framework of the Government Commission for the Population Census, the working group meeting was held at the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure.
